Job Opportunity:
This is a mid-senior level opportunity to manage the NSW and ACT capital works program across the Office portfolio, delivering projects on time, with minimal impact to tenant customers.
About the Role
* Manage the scoping, coordination, planning, outsourcing, delivery, reporting, and governance of the NSW and ACT (Office) capital works program.
* Making use of platforms, systems, and processes – ensuring delivery is consistent of that undertaken in other regions.
* Ensure best practice is consistently applied for all capital works, inclusive of management and reporting in line with local legislation.
* Budget preparation, budget management, and expenditure control, in relation to projects under management.
* Financial reporting including management of capital works fees.
* Management of external Project Managers, consultants, and contractors in relation to projects within your region.
* Producing detailed capital expenditure submissions and reporting.
Key Requirements:
* Project management qualification and/or Building/Engineering/Architecture or other appropriate tertiary qualifications.
* 10 years' industry experience with minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar technical role.
* Demonstrated Contract negotiation experience in the building and construction industry.
* Demonstrate skills in design management of multi-faceted team, leading the delivery of capital works projects. Possess analytical skills.
* Understanding of the design and delivery construction market.
