Job Description

Organisational Change Advisor

Location:
Stirling, Western Australia

Type:
Maximum Full/Part Time until 31st August 2026

Salary:
From $128,224.33 base salary + super (based on experience)

This newly created position is part of the People Team and reports directly to the Chief People Officer. The primary responsibility, aligned with City's change framework, is to design, coordinate, and implement organisation wide change management initiatives across the City. The position focusses on strategic and tactical people objectives, including Work Health and Safety and Talent Optimisation programs. Additionally, this position will be responsible for all change management activities associated with the rollout of the City's new Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, Workday.

What You Will Be Doing

* Design, plan, and execute all aspects of organisational change management (including communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and more).
* Work collaboratively to assess change impacts, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Working with People Capability Lead, develop, design and facilitate the full suite of learning mechanisms available to ensure successful education and adoption of change initiatives, including beyond the implementation of the initiatives.
* Develop and deliver clear, timely, and targeted communications to facilitate understanding and buy-in for change initiatives.
* Identify, analyse, and engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the change process.
* Monitor, measure, and report on change adoption and project progress, continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
* Actively participate and represent the project / initiative from a change management perspective in relevant meetings and activities.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

* Significant experience managing the breadth of organisational change for an organisation.
* Sound experience leading and implementing change management for HR platforms or technology.
* Expert knowledge and application of change management methodologies, frameworks and processes
* Excellent verbal and written communication (including facilitation and copy-writing skills) with highly developed interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels, in particular senior leadership teams.
* Expertise in reviewing and analysing complex or conflicting data to make recommendations.
* Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, proactive problem-solving skills and lead by example to drive change and achieve continuous improvement.
