Key Responsibilities

* Provide support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.

* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
">
* Provide transportation assistance to clients.
">
* Offer respite care to clients and their families.
">
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress.
">
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
">
* Foster a safe and healthy environment by following health and safety regulations.
">
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the NDIS field.
">

Requirements
">
">
* A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
">
* Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willingness to work towards completion (highly regarded).
">
* Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disability.
">
* Availability for day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
">
* Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
">
* Understanding of health and safety regulations.
">
* Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding the different support needs of clients based on their abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
">
* Basic care and first aid skills.
">
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
">
