Disputes and Economics Senior Associate Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior associate in the disputes and economics practice. We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare thorough and accurate damages assessments and valuations.
* Analyse complex technical accounting issues and conduct detailed financial investigations.
* Develop sophisticated financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses.
* Draft high-quality experts' reports and other deliverables.
* Collaborate with some of Australia's best litigators and expert witnesses.
Requirements:
* A newly promoted Manager, Assistant Manager/Supervisor, or a highly experienced Senior Consultant/Senior Analyst at a well-regarded professional services firm, preferably in a forensic or disputes practice.
* Completed post-graduate qualification (CA preferred) or on track to do so in the next 12 months.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in building complex financial models.
* Flexible approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and applying legal and financial principles across various contexts.
* Strong report writing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
