Our café is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Kitchen Cook to join our dedicated team. Position Overview
As a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring the highest quality standards in food preparation. You will work closely with the head chef and the rest of the kitchen team to deliver outstanding meals to our customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of café-style dishes, including breakfast and lunch options
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency
Assist in planning and preparing daily specials
Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation is maintained
Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
Assist with inventory management and restocking
Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook or kitchen hand in a café or restaurant setting
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
Passion for cooking and a positive attitude
