1. Salary range $87,700 to $106,700 per annum
2. Guaranteed Award increases of 6.5% and annual payment of $1000 over the next 2 years

The opportunity
Nambucca Valley Council is seeking an experienced Surveyor to head up our small team of professional surveyors within the Technical Services Section.
As Survey Coordinator, you will play an integral role in our projects by providing expertise and services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
6. Carry out and/or supervise Council's engineering and cadastral survey requirements including surveying and preparation of plans, documents and reports relating to same
7. Provide timely survey, investigation for design services, for construction and maintenance activities
8. Facilitate boundary adjustments for road realignments
9. Prepare and arrange for Road Closure applications and carry out status searches
10. Provide support to work teams, other Departments of Council and to the general public
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
11. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Surveying or a similar field or extensive experience and a record of achievement in the coordination and delivery of survey, design and engineering related services, expertise and advice, within financial and time constraints.
12. Experience as a registered or local government surveyor
13. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant professional and legislative requirements
14. Current drivers licence
15. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 or upwards and experience with CivilCAD, Magnet Office
