About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you’ll take charge of front-of-house responsibilities while supporting our Broome Employment Services team with high-quality administrative assistance. Your role will directly contribute to job seeker engagement and successful service delivery in a culturally responsive and community-focused environment.

Key focus areas
- Creating a welcoming reception experience for job seekers and stakeholders.
- Coordinating front-desk activities, appointment bookings, and enquiries.
- Supporting case managers and employment officers with day-to-day admin tasks.
- Engaging with job seekers to encourage participation and track their progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Office Support
- Provide administrative assistance to Employment Services Manager and Employment Officers.
- Manage reception area and job seeker enquiries.
- Maintain professional presentation of office spaces.
- Assist with appointment management and use of self-help facilities.
- Facilitate strengths-based engagement and case conferencing.
- Provide post-placement support, including mentoring and coaching.
- Records Management
- Maintain accurate electronic records, including case notes and job plans.
- Monitor job seeker progress and support Points Reporting Period compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) with strong data entry skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging with Indigenous Australians.
- Ability to manage complex client needs and deliver case management support.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Previous experience in administration, preferably in a community setting.
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent).
