Trading hours are from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. 40 working hours per week.
We are looking for a tyre fitter and wheel aligner.
Wheel alignment experience is preferred but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
About the Role
Autosport Tyre World Magill l is excited to welcome a new, experienced tyre technician to their friendly team. In this role, you will use your expertise to safely fit and repair tyres, while working in a well-equipped and organised workshop. You will work closely with motor mechanics, wheel aligners and sales staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving.
What you would do
Your main day-to-day tasks would include:
* Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
* Fitting, balancing, repairing and servicing tyres
* Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer's vehicles
* Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests as required
About you

* Prior experience working as a Tyre Technician
* Minimum 6 months of tyre technician experience required
* You are an excellent problem-solver and pay attention to detail
* You can work cooperatively in a team environment, but also confidently when unsupervised
* Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members
* Knowledge and compliance of work health and safety practices
* Australian work rights are required for this position
