Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
* Conduct regular assessments of technical support agencies to ensure engineering capability and compliance for Collins Class Submarine sustainment.
* Utilise ICAM techniques to conduct thorough product safety investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Communicate investigation outcomes effectively to stakeholders across all levels, providing clear recommendations for improvement.
* Maintain accurate and detailed product safety reports, databases, and business improvement requests.
* Collaborate with national and international stakeholders, maintaining objectivity under conflicting views and developing reasoned arguments to support informed decisions.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or a related field) from a reputable institution.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality or quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
* Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and 8D.
* Strong understanding of engineering management systems and supplier technical capability.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a complex engineering environment.
* Proven experience in supplier engagement and audit/technical investigation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
* Familiarity with ICAM Investigator training or similar qualifications is highly desirable.
