Senior Ecological Specialist
Overview
As a Senior Ecological Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to support the implementation of key environmental initiatives.
The role involves leading and assisting in water management focused monitoring, analysis and reporting on Tasmania's water resources. You will also deliver high-quality information and advice to ensure Tasmania's water resources are managed sustainably.
* Plan, lead and assist in water management focused monitoring, analysis and reporting on Tasmania's water resources
* Deliver fit-for-purpose information and advice to support the sustainable management of Tasmania's water resources
* Lead and contribute to freshwater ecological studies, environmental water assessments and monitoring programs
Requirements
* A degree in Environmental Management, Ecology, Aquatic Ecology, Hydrology or Environmental Science relevant to the professional duties
* Completion of relevant courses/training in water safety
* A current First Aid certificate
* 4WD experience
