Job Title: National Billing and Settlements Team Leader
National Billing and Settlements Team Leaders are responsible for managing a team of experienced Settlement Coordinators. These professionals work with clients to get them their settlement monies in the shortest possible timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day functions and overall performance of a high-functioning team.
* Actively contribute to staff development by providing a collaborative approach to coaching, training, and mentoring.
* Achieve accurate monitoring, calculating, and distribution of clients' settlement monies with priority.
* Ensure that the team adheres to business Service Level Agreements (SLA) to achieve organisational outcomes.
* Provides leadership and supervision to the Settlements Coordinators to ensure best possible outcomes.
* Encourage a proactive approach to the post-settlement process, focused on minimising the time it takes to get clients their settlement monies.
* Forecast monthly cashflow.
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners, focused on finding solutions to ensure best possible outcomes.
* Contribute to the enhancement of processes and procedures.
* Ensure that all governance, compliance, and control measures are adhered to for all billed and settled matters.
* Look for opportunities to mitigate financial risk for both the client and the business.
* Correspond with clients, statutory bodies, other legal firms, and insurers.
