Job Overview
The Rehabilitation Consultant plays a vital role in identifying and addressing physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organisational risk factors that may impact a worker's ability to return to work.
This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored plans and providing ongoing support to facilitate a safe and successful return to work.
The goal is to help individuals regain their highest level of functional performance and achieve optimal wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of Return to Work Plans for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers and other stakeholders to provide holistic support and guidance throughout the recovery process.
* Conduct vocational assessments and provide expert advice on suitable job placements and career progression opportunities.
* Design and deliver training programs to promote workplace wellness, injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
About You
* Hold relevant registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist or a Registered Psychologist.
* Possess current drivers' licence and access to own transport.
* Be able to obtain Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
