About the Role
This full-time position involves working from our head office in Port Melbourne with occasional site visits around Melbourne.
Main Responsibilities:
* Understanding project details and customer needs
* Assessing, approving, and negotiating contracts and contract terms
* Creating budgets, issuing purchase orders, and approving supplier invoices
* Managing project finances, tasks, and timelines
* Completing weekly project reports and forecasting
* Supporting operations, project management, and site foreman with project details, schedules, deliverables, and resources
* Liaising with clients, consultants, trades, and suppliers
Requirements:
* Construction Management or Quantity Surveying degree, diploma level, or building trade background or suitable experience in a similar role
* High computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project
* Contract Administration experience
* Project planning, drawings knowledge, and document management skills
* Financial planning and budgeting skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Full driver's license
