Position: Spray Painter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing various surfaces using spray painting techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and cleaning as needed
- Mix paint and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures
- Use spray guns and other equipment to apply paint to surfaces
- Ensure a smooth and even finish by applying multiple coats and using proper techniques
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to prevent accidents and exposure to harmful chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spray Painter in the automotive industry
- Experience with various types of paints and coatings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them at all times
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Trade qualification in Spray Painting or relevant field is preferred
