Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia. Together, we bring local experience and global expertise to deliver one of Victoria's biggest infrastructure projects – the Suburban Rail Loop. Our team is building almost 10 kilometres of twin tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping the future of Melbourne for generations to come.
About the Role
Join the Terra Verde training team and help us achieve our safety values built on an "Every Action Matters" philosophy and a strong culture to Strive and Win.
We are looking for a responsible motivated Training Advisor for delivering health and safety-based training to a large operational workforce based at our three operational site locations.
Key Accountabilities
* Designing and developing engaging training materials tailored to Terra Verde's operational risks and scope
* Delivering health and safety training across multiple project sites to a diverse operational workforce
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records, and continuously improving training processes
* Supporting onboarding of new workers with safety-focused induction sessions
* Promoting a strong safety culture through consistent messaging and behavioural reinforcement
* Assisting in the evaluation of training outcomes and reporting on effectiveness
About You
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
* Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
* Experience in tunnelling or high-risk construction environments
* Skilled in communicating safe work practices and procedures
* Familiarity with high-risk competencies (e.g. cranes, confined space, asbestos, traffic control)
