You will shape strategic partnerships that address complex industry challenges across banking, insurance, superannuation and emerging sectors. What you will deliver
* Identify sector trends and innovation opportunities across financial services, linking them to FEIT's research strengths.
* Develop, negotiate and secure strategic industry partnerships that generate impact, revenue and long‐term collaboration opportunities.
* Match industry needs with multidisciplinary research teams, co‐designing proposals, white papers and funded projects.
* Provide senior advice, networks and insight to the Platform Leader, strengthening the platform's strategic positioning and reach.
* Mentor platform staff in industry engagement, building capability in partnership development and executive‐level relationship management.

* Offer extensive senior experience in banking, insurance, superannuation or broader financial services sectors.
* Demonstrate a strong track record in business development, partnership creation and industry‐funded initiatives.

* Understand emerging research and technology challenges affecting financial services, including data, digital transformation and regulation.

You will join the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, a global leader in engineering and computing. FEIT's Financial Services Platform connects multidisciplinary researchers with industry partners to tackle sector‐wide challenges and opportunities. The team is collaborative, outward‐facing and impact‐driven, working closely with banks, insurers, superannuation funds and regulators.
