Primary Objective: The Director Legal Services manages a large team that is responsible for the Department of Children and Families and the Department of People Sport and Culture legal and information release functions. The Director is responsible for leading the team to provide high quality, expert advice to support Agencies in those matters, and for maintaining the policies and procedures to support those functions. Selection will be made at the SAO2 or SP2 level depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
* Lead a large team responsible for legal and information release functions for the Department of Children and Families and the Department of People Sport and Culture.
* Provide high quality, expert legal advice to support Agencies in relevant matters.
* Maintain policies and procedures to support legal and information release functions.
* Oversee and manage work to ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency policies.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience Level: Senior Administrative Officer 2
Remuneration
Remuneration Package: $179,451 - $195,425 (including salary $152,751 - $166,487)
