Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk/Trading Analyst to join our team at Ox Securities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing trade data, optimising liquidity, and ensuring the integrity of our trading systems through a data-driven approach. They must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience working with MT4/MT5 platforms for data extraction and analysis.
Note: This is a full-time remote position that operates on a graveyard shift schedule to align with global trading hours. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours.
Responsibilities
Trade Data Analysis:
Monitor and analyse trading data to detect patterns, inefficiencies, and potential abuses in the system.
Liquidity Optimisation:
Utilise data-driven models to assess market conditions and enhance liquidity management strategies.
Data Extraction:
Extract and analyse trade data while making necessary configurations when required.
Data Processing & Visualisation:
Develop scripts and dashboards using SQL and Python to extract, clean, and visualise data for decision-making.
Risk & Performance Metrics:
Generate reports on trade activity, liquidity trends, and execution performance to optimise operations.
Process Automation:
Implement automation solutions for data retrieval, trade monitoring, and reporting to improve efficiency.
Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with trading, risk, and operations teams to provide insights and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Key Requirements
Strong experience within a CFD/OTC brokerage or financial trading environment.
Proficiency in
SQL
and
Python
for data extraction, analysis, and automation.
Experience working with
MT4/MT5
terminal and backend systems.
Experience working with and handling large datasets.
Strong analytical mindset with a data-first approach to problem-solving.
Ability to develop reports and dashboards to present findings effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
