Clinical Leadership Role
As a skilled Clinical Care Manager, you will oversee and lead a team of nursing staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that exceeds accreditation standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents, particularly those living in our specialist dementia facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight and management of incident reporting, restrictive practices, and timely investigations.
* Providing support and guidance to residents and their families in our dementia facility.
* Staying abreast of relevant legislation, including the Aged Care Act 1997 and the New Aged Care Act 2025.
Leadership Qualities:
* Fostering a culture that reflects the values and purpose of the organisation.
* Demonstrating emotional maturity, cultural awareness, and flexibility when interacting with individuals and situations.
* Leading by example and influencing others to create a supportive organisational culture and community environment.
Technical Skills:
* Providing clinical leadership to ensure high-quality care for all residents.
* Regular examination and review of clinical incidents, audit data, and clinical indicators.
* Facilitating monthly clinical incident and analysis reports.
Attributes for Success:
* A minimum of five years' clinical experience, with a focus on person-centred care and older people's needs.
* Advanced knowledge and experience in best practice dementia care, clinical care coordination, and Aged Care Standards.
* Comprehensive understanding of AN-ACC and ability to manage and coordinate AN-ACC assessments.
