RN or EN Clinical Support Coordinator – Birkdale (Permanent, Full-time, 38 hrs per week)
MiCare is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Support Coordinator to provide high‑level clinical leadership, guidance and support across Margariet Manor and Overbeek Lodge in Kilsyth. This full‑time role supports two homes and contributes to the delivery of safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care.
This position is pivotal in supporting the Clinical Safety and Best Practice Manager to deliver safe, high‑quality care. The Clinical Support Coordinator will work between both homes.
* Provide clinical oversight and leadership to embed best practice standards aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Support the early detection and proactive management of high impact and high prevalence clinical care risks.
* Facilitate and guide Best Practice Specialist Teams, projects and initiatives such as the Staff–Elder Buddy Program and Domains of Wellbeing.
* Assist in quality activities including audits, documentation reviews and continuous improvement projects.
* Work collaboratively with staff to ensure Elders receive safe, evidence‑based, and trauma‑informed care.
* Complete audits and gap analyses as directed by the Clinical Safety and Best Practice Manager.

Qualifications
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with AHPRA.
* Post‑graduate qualifications in Advanced Nursing Practice, Gerontology or leadership are highly desirable.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience delivering specialised nursing care in aged care.
* Strong contemporary assessment and care planning skills.
* Proven experience auditing and driving quality and continuous improvement.
* Advanced clinical problem‑solving abilities and high‑level communication skills.
* Confidence to work flexibly across two sites, supporting managers and staff to deliver outstanding care.
Salary and Benefits
* 35.71 – 59.74 p/hr (salary determined by evidence on statement of service hours provided in the position of EN or RN) plus 12% Superannuation
