Overview
We’re continuing to build a high-performing maintenance team and are looking for a skilled and driven Heavy Crew Trades Assistant to support the Excavator and Drill Maintenance Team and help lift the performance and reliability of our fleet at Mount Arthur South.

Location: Mount Arthur South Mine
Roster: 5/4 Lifestyle Day/Night Roster
Responsibilities
- High-pressure washing and detailing of Liebherr Excavators and CAT Drills
- Delivery and escort of tooling, parts, and equipment across site
- Assisting trades with planned maintenance tasks on heavy machinery
- Operating maintenance support equipment (including IT Loaders, EWPs, and service vehicles)
- Supporting shutdown preparation, staging, and clean-up
- General housekeeping and trade support across the heavy maintenance area
About You
- Safety-focused, proactive, and dependable
- Experienced in working around large mobile plant and heavy equipment
- Skilled in high-pressure washing and detailing of machinery, with an eye for quality and thoroughness
- Able to safely work in various weather and environmental conditions, including mud, heat, and dust
- Comfortable using pressure cleaners, degreasers, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Capable of operating support equipment and confident navigating a large mining site
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist tradespeople
- Motivated to grow their skillset and take pride in their work
