Job Description
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care and service excellence to residents across multiple aged care homes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management reviews, and facilitate continuous improvement in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement that meet all regulatory requirements.
* Leading monthly meetings on quality and compliance matters across multidisciplinary teams, supporting the facility manager and teams to identify and analyze data on key performance indicators and areas of risk.
* Creating innovative solutions in collaboration with site management and the extended quality team to mitigate identified gaps.
* Providing advice and support to residential aged care staff around Aged Care Quality Standards requirements, working alongside the teams assisting in the resident assessment process.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, knowledge, and requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, including current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the new Aged Care Act 2025 and Governing for Reform in Aged Care.
* Registered Quality Assessor highly regarded, successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor's Course also desirable.
