About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Leading Hand to join our team at Mungari. As the right-hand underground for our Shift Supervisors, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and productive shift execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support safe execution of daily plans and identify potential hazards or delays.
* Act as the Supervisor's delegate underground when required, assisting with statutory inspections, shift paperwork, and variance reporting.
* Work closely with the Senior Shift Supervisor to manage underground production and development activities, including drilling, blasting, and bogging.
Duties Include:
* Liaising with crew members to promote hazard awareness and safe behaviors.
* Mentoring operators in jumbo and long hole operations.
* Routine inspections to maintain safety standards within the workplace area.
