Responsibilities
* Lead daily warehouse operations in Karratha, WA, ensuring efficient execution of day-to-day activities and adherence to safety and inventory controls.
* Supervise warehouse staff; monitor and adjust daily workloads and priorities based on business requirements.
* Oversee warehouse receipts, deliveries and dispatches to ensure quality and quantity of commodities; verify quality and count of commodities received and delivered.
* Verify loads before dispatch; perform spot checks on goods received.
* Understand internal inventory processes and become proficient in areas of warehouse operations to cover daily operations if required (e.g., forklift operation).
* Liaise with transport vendors as the site contact.
* Identify and address inventory reduction and relocation; document all such operations accurately.
* Conduct regular physical inventories and maintain inventory records; monitor and control inventory integrity.
* Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner and escalate as required.
* Track and report non-conforming products to ensure transactional integrity.
* Supervise cleaning, maintenance and repair of the warehouse; conduct regular warehouse inspections ensuring safe practices and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and neat stacking of commodities; train employees on proper stacking methods and handling practices.
* Attend daily operational meetings with internal teams and customers; foster open coordination with other functions to deliver high-quality service.
* Perform other tasks as required by the Global Operations Director.

Karratha, WA – Residential or FIFO from Perth.
Qualifications
* High school diploma.
* Forklift Licence.
* Some training and/or experience in commodity or general stock management, logistics, financial management, accounting or equivalent (preferred).
* 5-10 years experience working in a warehouse environment.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Builds and maintains relationships with the warehouse team as well as other stakeholders.
* Dependable, well organized, and strong time management skills.
* Solid working knowledge of computers and the following software: Oracle, MS Excel, MS Word.
