Disability Support Worker Role
This role involves providing support and care to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting participants with daily activities such as personal care and domestic assistance
* Fostering skill-building and independence through engagement in everyday tasks
* Providing companionship and meaningful interactions
* Implementing individualised Support Plans, Behaviour Support Plans and risk strategies
* Accurately documenting and reporting on participant progress
* Collaborating with families, allied health professionals and other support workers
No prior experience is required, as comprehensive guidance will be provided. This opportunity is ideal for students in nursing, psychology, Occupational Therapy, social work or allied health who want hands-on experience in the disability sector.
