Health Management Dietitians is currently seeking expressions of interest from Dietitians who may be interested in joining our growing team in Cairns.
We are trialling a different approach to recruitment, with a focus on flexibility and finding the right long-term fit — both for our team and for the clinician joining us.
We understand that relocating your life, family, partner, or commitments within a short timeframe can feel overwhelming. Instead of advertising for an immediate start only, we are opening conversations early so potential candidates have the opportunity to connect with us, learn about the role and lifestyle in Cairns, and decide whether it feels like the right fit before making any major decisions.
This process may suit:
* Dietitians considering a future move to Far North Queensland

* Clinicians wanting time to organise relocation and accommodation
* Anyone interested in exploring opportunities with a supportive private practice team
We are happy to offer flexibility around commencement dates, with the understanding that the right candidate may wish to start in 3–4 months’ time to allow adequate time to prepare for a move.

Health Management Dietitians is a growing private practice with clinics across Far North Queensland. Our team works across a diverse range of areas including chronic disease management, paediatrics, eating disorders, gastrointestinal nutrition, NDIS, sports nutrition, and rural health.

Essential Criteria
* Current drivers licence
* Current DA membership with full or provisional APD status or willingness to commit to the APD program if successful
* Accredited Sports Dietitian with Sports Dietitians Australia OR willingness to commit to the process of becoming an Accredited Sports Dietitian
* Must be able to pass a police check
* QLD Blue Card or ability to apply for one
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to build rapport with others
* Business mindset
* Willingness to relocate to Cairns
* Passion for sport and performance nutrition
Remuneration & Benefits
* $75,000–$100,000 + Super
* Generous performance bonuses (eligible after 6 months) or sooner if more experienced
* $1000 Professional Development allowance
* 2 days paid Professional Development leave in addition to annual and sick leave
* Phone allowance
* Yearly professional development retreat
