Role Description
C++ and AutoCAD essential
You will lead a team of software and hardware engineers to design, develop, and maintain electronics-based products. We need you lead the research and development as the senior software engineer and provide technical leadership in software development while managing engineering resources to deliver compliant, manufacturable, quality products.
Can you lead software architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and integration testing and manage and mentor software and hardware engineers? You will lead the handover process of completed projects to manufacturing including producing product release documentation.
We would like to see a tertiary degree in an engineering discipline, we will need to see a strong background in C++ software development with competency in QT, Linux, IOS and PC environments. Direct experience with embedded software and project management experience is essential and experience with microprocessor hardware design; familiarity with mechanical CAD systems (2D design essential, 3D design desirable).
