Position Overview
mycar Tyre & Auto is building a talent pool of experienced and qualified Casual Light Vehicle Mechanics. To be successful in this opportunity, you must be confident working hands-on in a busy workshop environment and committed to delivering quality workmanship every day.
Your day to day will see you conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine required repairs. You will conduct routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks, all while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workshop.
Success Profile
* 2+ years hands-on experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (MUST have)
* Previous experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* High standards in customer service and customer care
* Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable solutions
* Must be available to work Saturdays (required)
* Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* A can-do, team oriented attitude
