About the Role
You will play a crucial role in the strategic enterprise service management ServiceNow platform. Collaborating closely with the ServiceNow Technical Lead and as part of a scrum team, you will be actively engaged in estimating work, contributing to sprint planning, and refining requirements to validate work size and solutions. Your responsibilities will involve maintaining, evolving, and expanding the ServiceNow functionality, which is essential for streamlining and enhancing various processes within the university's operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the university's processes.
You’ll also be responsible for:
4. Investigate and diagnose incidents to ensure ServiceNow applications
5. Support and manage the platform through business rules, client scripts, UI actions, form sections, notification events, workflows and record producers
6. Maintain, improve and expand the use of Service Portal
7. Support and manage the platform through business rules, client scripts, UI actions, form sections, notification events, workflows, record producers and catalog items in-line with platform best practice standards
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a puzzle solver, great communicator and explorer to join our supportive team.
You’ll have:
8. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or relevant work experience as a ServiceNow Developer
9. Experience in investigation and diagnosis of incidents, and root cause analysis for problems in support of ServiceNow
10. Experience in developing ServiceNow business rules, UI actions, form sections, notification events, client scripts and including Angular JS
11. Ideal experience in configurations management, SOA and web service integration, such as XML, REST and SOAP
