Salary: $143,602 – $165,586 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading Position: Full-time continuing Location: Callaghan Campus About the Role As the Senior Lecturer in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography), you will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and engagement within the School of Health Sciences. You will contribute to the development and delivery of research‑led curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate Diagnostic Radiography programs, ensuring high‑quality learning experiences that prepare future health professionals for diverse clinical settings. You will play a key role in strengthening the School’s research profile, leading collaborative projects, attracting external funding, supervising HDR candidates, and contributing to the School’s national and emerging international research presence. You will also make meaningful contributions to program governance, curriculum innovation, and external engagement, fostering strong professional, clinical, and industry relationships that enhance both teaching and research outcomes. About you You will be an experienced academic who brings expertise in Diagnostic Radiography, a strong research record, and a commitment to educational excellence. You will hold (or be eligible for) AHPRA registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer. You will contribute to administrative, service, and community engagement activities across the School, the College, the University, and the profession. To be successful in this role, you will have: Expertise: Completed a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Diagnostic Radiography or related area. High-Quality Research: A sustained record of publications or non‑traditional research outputs, with evidence of national and international collaborations and research impact. Funding Success: Demonstrated capacity to secure research funding and foster research opportunities for emerging scholars. Supervision: Experience supervising honours, master’s, and HDR students, with timely completions and strong supervision practices. Quality Teaching: Evidence of high‑quality teaching and the ability to innovate in response to feedback, enhancing student success and learning outcomes. Leadership in Learning and Teaching: Recent leadership in course design, program convening, curriculum development, and peer mentoring across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Engagement: Strong contributions to internal University service and meaningful external engagement, including developing international collaborations and professional networks.
