Key Responsibilities
* Leading by Example: Provide strong, empathetic leadership that balances clinical excellence with financial and operational performance.
* Building Relationships: Foster trusted relationships with residents, families, and the local community.
* Compliance and Quality: Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Act standards, quality systems, and Respect policies.
* Strategic Planning: Drive continuous improvement through quality audits, accreditation readiness, and strategic planning.
* Staff Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to staff, promoting collaboration and integrity.
* Community Representation: Represent the facility professionally in partnerships with health professionals and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong clinical knowledge aligned with best practice (preferably in aged care).
* Proven experience in leadership and people management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Financial management, budgeting, and rostering expertise.
* Minimum three years' experience in residential aged care.
* Sound understanding of aged care legislation, funding, and accreditation standards.
