OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Cyber Security Analyst role at BAE Systems.
We are seeking a talented security professional to join our team and safeguard our organisation.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Central Functions Line of Business.
This position reports to the Cyber Security GRC Manager.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Location options include Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth or Canberra, with Adelaide preferred.As Australia's largest defence company in a rapidly growing sector, you will join a global team and have opportunities across traditional or evolving career paths.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with security policies and regulatory mandatesPrepare accreditation documentation and compliance reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory mandatesLead and facilitate risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies, considering the evolving threat landscape and business prioritiesProvide subject matter expertise in supplier cyber risk to the organisation's supply chain teamLead and facilitate continuous assurance activities to ensure proactive risk and control managementProvide security support and guidance to the businessAbout YouCyber Security, ICT or Engineering related degree or equivalentSignificant experience in a cyber security role, with a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and practicesSignificant knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISM, PSPF) and their application in enterprise environmentsCRISC, CISM, CISSP or other relevant certification is highly desirableExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersDefence security clearance or eligibility to obtainEligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulationsAbout UsYou will be joining a workplace that truly cares about your wellbeing.
