About The Role

DTC Footwear Merchandising Manager Converse – Reports to G.M. Commercial & Merchandise.

Drive the commercial performance of the Footwear category across DTC channels (On-Line, Mono & Outlet) by building compelling seasonal assortments, managing trade activity, and optimising inventory and markdown strategies to maximise sales and margin.

Specifically, this role will include, but is not limited to:

• Build and present seasonal footwear ranges for DTC channels. Lead pitchback seasonal meetings with key stakeholders and deliver detailed seasonal overview files.
• Lead influence over seasonal & at-once ranging, allocations, pricing architecture and inventory decisions.
• Lead the weekly trade meeting from a Footwear performance POV. Review weekly sales & inventory reports and interpret appropriate actions against required KPI's.
• Inventory Management.
• Store & Market Engagement.

About You

• Leadership skills and team management experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a buying or planning role preferably within the Sport, Fashion, FMCG or similar type industries.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent time management and self-motivation.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications, proficiency with MS Excel is a must.
