Geologist (Coal Mining)

About the role
* This position is based at our newest longwall mine, located within the Bowen Basin.
* We are seeking qualified and experienced geologists to join our technical services team.
Responsibilities
* Hazard planning and permit development for underground coal mines.
* Utilisation of SIS/UIS drilling data for seam interpretation.
* Geological/geotechnical project work, including geological modeling using AutoCAD, Deswick, or Vulcan software.
About you
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in underground coal mining as a geologist would be highly desirable.
* Tertiary qualification in Geology and/or Geoscience would be advantageous.
