Western Health has an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated pharmacists to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist - Grade 2 (Rotational). Permanent and fixed-term full-time positions are available (80 hours per fortnight).
Location and work arrangements are across multiple Western Health sites.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for pharmacists looking to expand and develop their clinical and operational skills within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert professional knowledge to ensure patient outcomes are optimised and to achieve Quality Use of Medicines (QUM).
* Ensure optimal doses of the most appropriate medicine are given at the right time to the correct patient.
* Support prescribers and patients to maximise clinical benefits of medicines and minimise risks of unwanted reactions.
* Maintain professional competence and participate in continuing education activities to support teaching of pharmacy students and interns.
* Support education, research, and operational activities within the department.
About You
* Provide expert professional knowledge across a broad range of clinical and operational areas to optimise patient outcomes.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and participate in clinical education programs.
* Develop and maintain information technology skills and contribute to the development of innovative Pharmacy Services.
* Work independently and as part of a team; manage priorities to meet deadlines.
* Be able to work across multiple sites.
