The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the service technician's key focus will be to undertake service activities, primarily on existing customers, whilst looking for opportunities to promote or increase sales with existing and new customers.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Technical Service Technician to join our high performing team. The team provides an atmosphere that encourages collaboration, and management provides the opportunities for the team to further develop technical skills within the water management industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Onsite water analysis, mentoring, reports, problem solving and inventory management.
* Responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled service calls of industrial water treatment systems.
* Maintain existing equipment and dosing controllers with customers throughout the state.
* Deal directly with customers to recommend upgrades or changes to their current plant.
* Providing breakdown service and repairs to water treatment equipment and plants.
* Provide technical advice on steam plant, cooling water, pre-treatment & wastewater treatment systems.
* Maintain quality records and compliance documentation as required by management.
* Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Key Requirements:
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
* Work and fit within an established small team environment of like-minded individuals.
* Tertiary Qualified in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental is preferable with existing expertise & knowledge of water treatment within water and chemical environment.
* A high degree of mechanical aptitude and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
* Adept with both mechanical concepts and technology-based equipment.
* Attention to detail, timely completion of reports and adherence to safe work procedures.
* Identify, report, and resolve service outcomes on site.
* Current driver's license is essential.
* Able to confidently communicate to a diverse range of customers and colleagues.
* Ability to work completely autonomously.
