About the role
We are seeking fabulous, passionate and caring Assistant in Nurses (Carers) to come and join our team at Superior Care Group's aged care facility in Wellington Point, Queensland. This is a part-time or casual role, offering the chance to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, providing high-quality care to our residents.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the administration of medication to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Providing personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of resident care
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- A current Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience as an AIN, preferably in an aged care setting
- Medication competency and the ability to administer medications under supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures
