**The Opportunity**:
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 3 Stores and Logistics Support Officer within Digital Customer Services Branch.

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) supports the work of the Australian Parliament and Australian Parliament House and is responsible for a wide range of services and facilities. DPS has over 1,000 employees, working across a diverse range of areas which includes corporate services, security and building maintenance, reporting and broadcasting, library services, catering, visitor and art services and ICT services.

The Information Services Division (ISD) provides information and communications technology, Hansard and broadcasting services to the Parliament. ICT services are provided to Parliament House, Electorate Offices across Australia, and Commonwealth Parliament Offices.

Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking a highly organised and skilled team member who has proven ICT logistics and ICT asset relocation / refresh experience. Applicants will need to be self-motivated, possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and have a keen attention to detail.

The nature of the Parliamentary environment means that there is also a requirement to be flexible and responsive, as workloads can be high and fluctuate without warning. The position will therefore suit applicants who are proactive, professional and can maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for self-motivated applicants with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a keen attention to detail and are seeking development opportunities to support the effective delivery of ICT services and ESS operations at Parliament House.

The role will be required to liaise with stakeholders to ensure that ICT and ESS assets are managed and assigned in such a way as to meet the needs of business, maximising value while reducing incidents, disruption and re-work.

**Job Specific Requirements**:

- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.

**Immediate supervisor**:Assistant Director, Digital Customer Services

Main duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Contribute to the daily operation of the DPS ICT store, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, timely processing of requests, and maintaining a high standard of organization and cleanliness within the stores.

2. Undertake asset management tasks including, goods receipting, tagging, updating and maintaining accurate records in ServiceNow, and stock validation and reporting.

3. Facilitate the movement of assets in and out of the ICT store and throughout Parliament House, undertaking the associated logistic related manual handling tasks in accordance with relevant approved legislation, policies, procedures, and manual handling techniques.

4. Contribute to the disposal of ICT assets, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This includes where required, the secure destruction of sensitive equipment and data, and maintaining records of disposed assets for audit purposes.

5. Support the provision and distribution of print supplies and consumables for the Parliament House print fleet, ensuring their timely delivery and replenishment. Monitor print supply and consumable levels to maintain optimal stock.

6. Assist ICT Service Delivery support teams, during peak periods, with office ICT relocations, ICT office resets, and ICT hardware refreshes at Parliament House.

Working under general direction, this role works closely with DPS teams and clients to support the distribution of ICT assets throughout Parliament House and on occasions to and from Electorate Offices and / or vendors.
