Internal Recruiter – Temp Labour
Skout Solutions has an opportunity for a service-focused and experienced Temporary Labour – Internal Recruiter to join our team, supporting Ventia across Western Australia and South Australia.
This fast-paced and challenging role is well-suited to an experienced temp recruiter who thrives in dynamic environments.
The Company
Skout Solutions is the internal recruitment partner for Ventia. We recruit for a wide variety of office and site-based roles across industries including Resources, Construction, Infrastructure & Facilities Management, Logistics, Justice, and Defence.
Our skilled team of Specialists work in close partnership with contracts to deliver a complete and integrated recruitment experience. Our focus is on attracting, retaining, and developing highly skilled, motivated candidates.
About the Role
You'll be recruiting primarily across blue-collar roles—ranging from Kitchen Hands, Trade Assistants and Labourers through to Site Supervisors and Engineers. This is a hands-on sleeves environment where adaptability, clear communication, and strong stakeholder engagement are essential.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Solid experience running and growing a blue-collar temp desk in a fast-paced agency or internal setting.
* Strong candidate attraction and pipeline management skills, with the ability to fill high-volume, quick turnaround roles.
* Proven experience for building and maintaining productive relationships with hiring managers, site teams, and candidates.
* Strong administration and compliance focus with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills and the resilience to thrive under pressure.
* Proficiency in recruitment systems, databases, and technology.
* A motivated, hardworking approach and a genuine passion for supporting the frontline workforce.
