The P&C Business Partner drives cultural, capability and operational change while empowering leaders to own their people decisions.
What you'll do
* Collaborating with stakeholders to support and promote the successful implementation of Group P&C initiatives, while building strong relationships that align organisational and people strategies.
* Providing strategic insights that shape P&C priorities, leveraging workforce data to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
* Managing investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes, escalating complex ER/IR matters to the ER Principal as required.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting organisational design, role clarity, and effective decision‐making across business units.
* Contributing as an active member of the HR P&C Leadership Team, role‐modelling a growth mindset and fostering cross‐functional collaboration.
* Delivering timely advice to leaders on employment matters, including policies, entitlements, legislation, and early‐stage performance or behavioural concerns.
* Supporting employees on matters relating to their employment and acting as a catalyst for positive change by offering insights, guidance, and constructive challenge on people‐related issues.
What you'll bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent HR partnering/generalist experience.
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and contemporary employment law principles.
* Solid understanding of HR processes, governance frameworks and operating rhythms, with the ability to coach and support leaders in applying them effectively.
* Proven capability to provide strategic and operational advice on complex employee relations matters, organisational change, restructures and sensitive people issues.
* Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into practical, compliant and scalable P&C solutions, with a proactive, solutions‐focused approach.
* High levels of fairness, objectivity, sound judgement and strong attention to detail, ensuring high‐quality, business‐aligned outcomes.
* Self‐driven, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* Excellent relationship‐building, communication and influencing skills
