* Temporary Clerk Grade 11/12 opportunity ($149,739 - $173,174 per annum) until June 2027 plus superannuation and leave loading based in Martin Place, Sydney.

About the Role
The Associate Director, Internal Engagement plays a key role in driving high levels of staff engagement across the Department by shaping culture, connection, and communication. This role leads to the delivery of high-quality internal communications and engagement initiatives, ensuring messages, events and activities are timely, effective, and aligned to organisational priorities. The position is responsible for managing internal communication channels that support open dialogue and meaningful feedback across all levels of the organisation.

Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, the role develops and delivers a robust and innovative internal engagement framework for PD and TCO staff. Responsibilities include overseeing a diverse range of communication and engagement tools and events - such as newsletters, e-bulletins, intranet content, briefings, forums, meetings, special events and staff surveys, as well as managing content for The Hub intranet site. The role also supports the Office of the Secretary, senior executives and the Corporate Services Group to communicate key issues and gather staff feedback.

We're Looking For

* Internal Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement a robust, innovative internal engagement framework and strategy to effectively engage PD and TCO staff in line with organisational priorities.
* Communications and Engagement Delivery: Oversee the development of high-quality, innovative communications and engagement tools, materials and events, including newsletters, e-bulletins, intranet content, briefings, forums, meetings, special events and staff surveys.
* Executive and Workforce Communication: Support the Office of the Secretary, senior executives and the Corporate Services Group by communicating key issues to staff and systematically gathering and analysing staff feedback.
* Content, Risk and Provider Management: Monitor staff interests, assess program and project risks, and manage external providers to deliver effective outcomes in complex and sensitive environments.
* Strategic Analysis and Leadership: Provide evidence-based analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making, and lead corporate and employee communications across the PD and TCO portfolio, building strong networks to ensure effective information dissemination.
