About the Opportunity
This temporary role has become available due to parental leave, providing a unique opportunity for you to step into a well-established and supportive environment. You will be part of a team committed to empowering young people and fostering inclusion in our community.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver committees, programs, events, and workshops that engage and support young people
* Support young people to set goals and access relevant services and resources
* Create safe, engaging, and inclusive spaces at our dedicated youth facility
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote partnerships and collaboration
* Contribute to strategic planning and continuous service improvement to enhance the quality of our programs and services
What We Are Looking For
* Tertiary qualifications in youth work or a related field such as social work, education, or community development
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building positive relationships with young people and their families
* Proven ability to engage and support a diverse cohort of young people from various backgrounds and circumstances
* Knowledge of youth safety principles and intervention strategies to ensure the well-being of all individuals
* Experience in developing and evaluating group programs and events that meet the needs of young people
* A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check
* First Aid certification (desired)
