As a MIRT Clinician, Your Day Involves
Walking alongside individuals living with severe mental illness, recognising, respecting, and honouring their unique recovery journey
Providing person-centred, recovery-oriented care
Engaging with individuals in ways that best support their individual needs
Developing meaningful relationships with clients and their families
Supporting individuals in their desire to engage in meaningful occupation:
Collaborating with consumers, caregivers, and other stakeholders to help people pursue their recovery goals in an occupation-centred way that values choice, autonomy, and lived experience
Using discipline-specific assessments and interventions to understand each person's strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and to support them in meeting their goals
