The Role
Our client is a pioneering medical device company that specializes in the development and application of groundbreaking non-invasive treatments for tumors.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Representative to serve as the primary interface between healthcare professionals in Victoria and Tasmania.
This role plays a crucial part in driving product sales growth, expanding patient referrals, and fostering strong relationships with key medical stakeholders.
Key Objectives:
* Drive Product Sales Growth:
o Increase sales at existing sites through strategic engagement and product education.
o Identify and pursue opportunities to open new sites within the territory.
o Develop the competence of treating physicians to enhance product adoption.
* Expand Patient Referrals:
o Engage with a broader network of referring specialists, including oncologists, surgeons, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
o Identify and develop product advocates within key medical institutions.
o Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to leverage their expertise and influence.
* Collaborate with Medical Departments:
o Work closely with hospital departments such as radiology, oncology, and surgery to ensure seamless product integration.
o Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to understand treatment decision-making processes and identify opportunities.
* Convey Customer Needs and Provide Training:
o Act as a liaison between healthcare professionals and our client's company, communicating customer feedback and product needs.
o Provide comprehensive product education and updates to enhance customer understanding and confidence.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary degree in science or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with a proven track record in hospital sales.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information effectively.
* Ability to work autonomously while being a team player.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Completed our client's product training with a minimum score of 85%.
