We are seeking a qualified Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant who is passionate about supporting clients and has an interest or experience working in Dietetics. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic healthcare team and contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients. While your primary focus will be Dietetics, you will also gain exposure to a wide range of Allied Health services, enabling you to further your own learning and professional development. The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, 80.0 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO The Position: In this role, you will work primarily with the Dietetics team to provide clinical support and direct therapy services for clients to promote, maintain and assist recovery and independence in all aspects of daily living. Besides Dietetics, other areas you will work may include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Physiotherapy and Podiatry. Under the direction of an Allied Health professional, key tasks will include providing clinical care to patients in individual or group settings, using screening tools to gather information, documenting client progress and managing supplies and equipment. What You'll Need: * Certificate III (minimum) in Allied Health Assistance. * Flexible approach to clinical and non-clinical tasks across multiple disciplines. * An understanding of the physical and psychological aspects of rehabilitation care and a person centred approach to supporting clients with a range of abilities. * Understanding of rehabilitation principles; Dietetic modules valued but not essential as training will be provided to support your success.
