Procurement Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including data entry and analysis, research, and maintenance of spreadsheets.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including buyers, warehouse staff, and suppliers.
* Manage quotation email inbox, quote administrative tasks, and quotation status.
* Process quote data into master data files.
* Handle Requests for Quotation (RFQ) from procurement to potential bidders.
* Monitor and follow up on quotes, and manage quotation tracking sheets.
* Work collaboratively with the procurement team and internal customers to improve RFQ on Time KPI.
* Post-contract administration to ensure all contract terms are satisfied.
Requirements:
* Reliable and punctual, with a proactive approach to tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry.
* Able to multitask, prioritize, and coordinate workflow to complete tasks within time constraints.
* Able to work autonomously.
* Proactive and customer-focused approach.
* High attention to detail.
Education:
Tertiary qualification in finance, logistics, supply chain management, or another relevant business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
