OverviewMRAELhave an exciting opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join the Intojobs team to deliver Workforce Australia' Employment Services.This position is based in our Emerald office, and the successful candidate will have access to a pool car fortravel and work-related purposes.About the Role:As an Employment Consultant, you will be the driving force behind supporting a caseload of job seekers in their journey to employment.
Working within the Workforce Australia framework, you'll connect people with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive in today\'s workforce.A solid understanding of people centred case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success.ResponsibilitiesWork one-on-one with job seekers to assess strengths, barriers, and employment goals.Motivate, engage and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience and confidence and to work with them to remove their perceived barriersCreate and manage tailored job plans that support long-term employment outcomes.Build robust relationships with local employers to create job opportunitiesProvide ongoing coaching, motivation, and job readiness supportTrack and report on job seeker progress in line with program guidelines.Provide post-placement support to both the jobseeker and employersQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:You're a natural communicator with strong interpersonal and communication skills - a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgroundsBe passionate about helping people and making a difference in the communityBe highly organised and self-motivatedIntermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases (prior administration experience is highly regarded)You thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy achieving (and exceeding) KPI\'sHave a current Drivers Licence (no restrictions)Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environmentPrevious experience in employment services, recruitment, sales or case management is highly regarded - but not essential for the right fit!
