Our client has an exciting prospect for a HR professional to join our People and Culture Team as a People and Culture Advisor - Payroll, providing high quality Payroll Services. As the People and Culture Advisor - Payroll you will undertake all aspects of payroll processing that include:
processing salaries, superannuation, allowances, workers compensation payments and leave using the HR information system - Aurion
responding to simple and complex client queries relating to employment conditions and entitlements
implementing and continually improving personnel processes
interpreting APS legislation, the workplace agreements and other relevant materials on employment conditions and entitlements, advising management and staff accordingly
creating and managing productive working relationships with other areas of the and external service providers to achieve overall goals and make appropriate personnel decisions
supporting the HR Systems Administrator as required
You will have the ability to identify issues and develop solutions to problems. You will also possess an inquisitive mind, with the ability to use your initiative and judgement, and be motivated to seek opportunities for business improvements.
Proven understanding of, and experience working with HR Information Systems and well developed Aurion technical skills or the ability to rapidly acquire those skills.

Well developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively negotiate and influence outcomes.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with mínimal supervision, including the ability to organise workflow with changing priorities.
