Part-Time Nanny Wanted – Join Our Family
We're a warm and down-to-earth family looking for a kind and engaging nanny to help care for our toddler on a part-time basis.
This position would suit someone who genuinely loves working with children, values play-based learning and is looking to become an extension of a family, not just an "employee".
Hours: 5–25 hours per week, depending on the weather.
(My husband's job is weather-dependent, so hours may vary week to week. We'll do our best to give as much notice as possible.)
About Our Son
He's a curious, active, and joyful little guy who loves:
Being outdoors (mud, bugs, puddles – all of it)
Sensory play and anything hands-on (water table, rice/bean trays, play dough, etc.)
Pretend play (sweeping, emptying the dishwasher, playing house)
Reading books and story time
We're looking for someone who will nurture his development through play, imagination, and gentle guidance.
Someone who naturally brings warmth, patience, and creativity to their work with children.
About You
Warm, reliable, and genuinely loves working with children
Experience with toddlers or young children
Knowledge of age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
Has a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)
Child First Aid certificate is a bonus
Looking for a longer-term position and keen to grow with our family ****** months)
This role would be ideal for an early childhood student, educator, or experienced nanny looking for flexible part-time hours.
Location: Just outside of Gatton, QLD
