About the role: As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for an experienced and dynamic Workforce Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the future of workforce planning and service delivery across our organisation.
The Workforce Manager focuses on operational excellence through effective resource capacity and demand forecasting, real-time monitoring, rostering optimisation, process governance, roster compliance, continuous improvement, and reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand factors affecting workforce plans, develop and maintain operational resource plans, and leverage insights from the broader workforce market to anticipate current and future needs for our Residential Care business units.
You will: Collaborate with Regional Managers and stakeholders to develop and implement workforce planning strategies Manage and review quarterly care minutes for each Residential Care location, analysing variances and occupancy rates to inform workload planning Consult with Facility, Regional, and Finance Managers on recommended roster changes based on care minute reviews Update the workload planner in UKG Dimensions quarterly with approved changes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, employment contracts and industry standards Identify process and compliance gaps, and implement improvements Review and enhance rostering systems for efficiency, accuracy, and worker satisfaction Develop timely, accurate reporting on workforce and team performance metrics Collaborate with the GM Workforce Management and Procurement team to manage third-party labour providers and maintain relationships with preferred providers Identify training needs and coordinate on-the-job training to enhance roster management and workforce planning skills within the team Manage a team of rostering partners, including resource allocation, portfolio management and performance management Who are you: Extensive experience in workforce planning and roster management - residential aged care or public health sector an advantage Proven leadership skills: demonstrated experience developing, motivating and leading high performing and engaged teams is essential Ability to make decisions that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience, while effectively mitigating risks Experience developing and implementing process improvements highly regarded Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Fair Work Act Experience with workforce management software, specifically UKG Dimensions, including report generation and data analysis to monitor key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders The benefits of choosing us for your next role: Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year.
